How do you get your Mommy Time?
Being a stay at home mom can be very stressful. Your job is 24/7 and it seems that it’s a never ending job.
I love to read but once I get the kids down I am just too exhausted to read. I love to do crafts, but it seems like as soon as I get the items out to craft then they are up from their nap.
So what do you do to get your mommy time? I have found the only way to get my mommy time is to have someone sit with the kids a couple of hours every two weeks.
I love to get a pedicure and get my nails done.
If you are on a tight budget and you are unable to afford to get your nails done and get a pedicure than there are other things that are relaxing and will get you your mommy time.
Another way I like to get mommy time is to go to McDonald’s, grab me a hot coffee or a cold coke and head to the park with my favorite book.
The park for me is one of the most relaxing places. If I am not in the mood to read, I like to sit and watch the birds, giggle at the children (other than mine) playing in the park. Our park has a water fountain and I love to just sit and listen to the water as it pours out of the fountain.
Other than reading in the park, watching birds, or reading, If you like games that are on your phone then you can enjoy playing a game while sitting in a calm and relaxing place.
Mommy time is important.
Every mom needs mommy time. If you work and then come home and take care of your home and your children, you need mommy time just as much as a mom that is a stay at home mom. Mommy time provides you with some down time. Gives you the energy to go back home and be refreshed and makes dealing with them terrible twos much easier.
Taking time for yourself is as important as taking time for family time. A happy mommy equals a happy home.
