Our new fur baby!
Hello, everyone! Meet Tiny!
This was her sitting in the back on the trip home. Tiny’s original name was Kush so we changed it to Tiny. My son Matthew had her and he is a pot head and decided that it would be a good name for her. He laughed at us because she is a full-blooded pit bull and we name her Tiny, but if an ankle bitter can have a name like Killer then I think a pit can have a name Tiny.
Really how embarrassing would it be if your neighbors thought you kept yelling Tush?
She is 8 months old and seems to be great natured. She loves Joshua and loves attention. She loves that she no longer has to be on a chain or locked in a basement.
We got her home, got her shots and a checkup with the vet. In 5 days I will be taking her to get her sprayed. I do worry about doing that because I have to leave her for a whole 24 hours and I am worried she will think I am not coming back after her. On the 6th of June, she will go for her booster shot and get the pill for flea’s and ticks.
She is going to get a lot bigger than she is now and I love how protective she is already. The first day we were home she barked when someone showed up, she will bark when there is a knock at the door, and she barks when people come in the door.
She loves to play outside and she loves the table scraps she get in hopes of trying to get some meat on her bones.
She cannot get out the fence and we are going to put bricks on the outside of the fence to prevent her from getting out and losing her like we did our other puppy. She would not have normally been our first choice of dog because my husband is not too agreeable with pits because abused pits have given their breed a bad name.
I believe that any dog can turn after being abused. I believe if you treat your fur baby like a family member they will love you and treat you good like you have treated them.
