Silicone Terra Cotta 9″ Round Cake Pan

This is my first Silicone cake pan that I have ever used and I love it. So when I think silicone I think rubber and when you put heat to rubber it melts right? Well I got brave and decided I was going to give this silicone stuff a try and put it in my oven. Let me tell you, I am so glad I did. This pan did not stick at all and most importantly I no longer have fear of burning my house down when using silicone to bake with. 🙂 Yep silly me.

This pan bakes evenly and oh my you can stick it in the microwave…My guys are microwave this and that kind guys. Oh and the fudge you can make in the microwave and now a pan that will be easy to clean and non-stick. So when  you have baking dishes that can go in oven and microwave why keep them metal pans around? I am going to invest and get me more of the silicone.

I made brownies in this pan and they did not stick and they cooked evenly. This pan is stain and order resistant. Very easy to clean. It is a 9 inch cake pan that is 2 1/2 inches deep. Not only can it go in the microwave and oven, you can put it in dishwasher and freezer. This is a non-stick pan and if you look at the picture below you will see that it didn’t stick.
