I got my first membership to a gym the other day and wish I would have done it sooner.
I am surprised at how much working out can make me feel better about myself. I can relieve stress and work on being healthy. Even if you are not out to lose weight you would not believe how much you will feel good about working out, it gives me a boost of self-esteem and helps with energy. Going to the gym also gives me my mommy time that is well deserved and needed.
I started out with the goal to work on my cardio but that is something that is going to take time for me to work up to. My new goal is to get a flat stomach and work toward the cardio workout with ease. I am working on the treadmill at a good pace that gets me close to my target heart rate. Other than the treadmill I work on the bikes. I love that my gym membership provides me with the choice to tan, full body enhancements, and massages.
My goal is to have a flat stomach and a great tan by the time March rolls around. I have had this Jelly Belly for over twenty years and I am done with it.
The one thing I got asked all the time when I first started going to the gym is why? The reason I was asked that is because I don’t need to lose weight but I do want to be healthy and I do want to have a firm and toned body. None of us are getting any younger and that is enough to give me the push to work out. So if you are at a healthy weight, you to can still enjoy the benefits of a gym membership. Wanting to be a healthy person doesn’t always mean it has to do with losing weight.
