I just wanted to say thank you for all that you have done for me. I sit back and think about the woman I am today and that is what has inspired me to say Thank you.
I am not perfect, and I have made some mistakes though out my life but for the most part I am a good person and I have you to thank for that.
The other day I was sitting and thinking about life. As I watch people and see that they have a different outlook on things in life, I think to myself, my mom is one Hell of mom.
Just to think about a couple of things that make me feel good about myself is that you always raised us kids to be respectful. This is something that I don’t see too many have in a way that we have respect.
You taught us, kids, that when we were away for dinner, we were to get up from the table and help clean up. This is something that I see that a lot of people do not do anymore. They eat and sit while you clean up after you cooked.
You taught us to say excuse me when we burp or passed gas, you taught us to say excuse me when someone was in our path and we could not get through. This is something a lot of people don’t do anymore.
You taught us to say please and thank you. You taught us to be respectful to our elders.
This list could go on and on but the main purpose of this letter is to tell you Thank you and I love you.
Because of you, I am the woman I am today and I am so happy that I have you in life. Thank you for raising me to be a thoughtful, kind, and loving woman.
The world would be a better place if there were more moms like you.
Love your oldest, Kerri Mosher
