Happy New Year

I hope everyone had a safe and happy New Year.

On New Year’s eve, I decided I was going to bring the New Year in with a clean house, laundry all done and no cooking.

So on New Year’s Eve, I worked at keeping up with the kids and their messes. One thing I am looking forward to is these kids going back to school. Seems like teenagers are harder to keep up with than the little ones when it comes to cleaning.

New Years Day

Well, it is New years day! I did indeed wake to a clean house and my laundry is done. Now for dinner, I normally have a Turkey dinner. Well, I don’t know about you but I am exhausted from Thanksgiving and Christmas.

I am making a new tradition this year for New Years. My New Years dinner will be sub sandwiches and chips.

I am making my New Years day a stress free one with way less work! No cooking, cleaning or laundry on this day for me.

Now this tradition sounds like a very exciting holiday to me! I think for all of you that slave over holidays should consider making a traditional New Year that will let you relax and think about the things to come in the New year besides cooking, cleaning, and laundry.

Happy New year to all of you and may this year brings you love, peace, and happiness.

Me and the boys.
