Love Yourself: Grow In Confidence Every Single Day

When you have to handle a big and unwelcome change in your life, it can sometimes really knock your confidence for 6. Wanting to stay in bed and hide away is a natural reaction to feeling dejected and a little lost. When your confidence is knocked, you might feel like nothing will ever be the same again. It doesn’t matter what it that has affected you; it’s more about how you can pick yourself up. Being kind and gentle with yourself when you’re feeling low is one of the most important things that you can do. The less stress that you can put on yourself at this tricky time, the better. As much as you don’t want to put yourself under unnecessary strain, it’s also important that you continue to push through your pain. One day at a time you need to work on your confidence and pull yourself back up again. You want to actually pull yourself higher than you ever have done before! So take a big, deep breath and begin your journey to confidence.

  1. Block out the negativity

Social media can be the devil; there’s no doubt about it. It can have you comparing yourself to another’s life, and it can make you feel inadequate about yourself. If you consistently do this, it will knock your self-esteem. The thing is, most of what on social media is a lie! Or at the least the very best version of the truth. It’s not real life, it;s just what people want you to see. So if Facebook is getting you down, unplug yourself for a while. Delete the app from your phone and ask a trusted family member or friend to change your password to something that you don’t know. Do yourself some good and look at the world via fresh eyes for a while.

  1. Do something different

If you hate the way that you look, you need to do something about that. Constantly telling yourself that you are ugly, fat, too skinny or unattractive is terrible for your mental health. You need to breathe and look for the good – because there’s a load of it in you. Why don’t you do a little research and hire a Photographer for a day to take some awesome photos of you? It’s such a fun thing to do, and you’re sure to feel better about yourself after! Enjoy your photo shoot by planning things out and working on your photo face. When you look in the mirror, see how amazing you are.

  1. Be prepared

If you’re about to start a new job or are having to face difficult times, arm yourself with confidence by preparing. Knowledge is power and the more you know, the higher you’ll hold your head up. Study as much as possible and learn all that you can. Even if you don’t end up using all of this information you’ll feel good just knowing that you have it!
