My siblings 500 words challenge Day 4
This post is going to about my siblings. I am the oldest so I am going to start with the siblings according to age. Please remember I am doing this little challenge and using it so that my readers can get a feel of who I am.
Heather is my half-sister. She turned 42 years old today. Heather and I have the same father but different mothers. We were not raised together and we don’t see each other much. When I think back on my childhood I don’t really remember meeting Heather until I was about 8 years old. I was visiting with dad (which was rare).
I one thing I remember about this visit was we went with Heather and her mom. Her mom pierced mine and my sister Hope’s ears. This caused a big blow up when we went back home to our mother.
I can see what Heather is up to by keeping up with her on social media but that is pretty much as far as our relationship goes.
My sister Hope is my full sister. Hope turned 41 in March. Hope’s birth name is Delores but we have always just called her Hope. She was born and raised in Michigan and still living in Michigan. She has been married 3 times and had 2 children. She is now raising her grandchild and is struggling with MS.
Hope is a scratch off addict 🙂 she is fun to go the bars with. She tries to come off as bad ass but she is a good person and will help anybody when she can.
Lisa would have been turning 38 years old this year but she is no longer with us. Lisa is very much missed but never forgotten. She has two beautiful children. My niece just turned 18 this year and my nephew is 13 years old.
Lisa had some tragedy in her childhood and was a hard child to deal with at times. As an adult, she got into drugs and the drugs took her life. Took her away from her children and her family. Drugs stole her life!
Lisa was a very pretty young lady. Kids loved her and would go to her even if they didn’t know her. She turned her life around after her horrible teenage years, she went back to school and graduated and then had two children. Lisa was a hard worker and worked all the time. Then the drugs came into play and ruined everything.
I miss my baby sister and the sad truth of it all is that we didn’t really talk much when she was alive because of the drug use.
My one and only brother, the baby of the family. Sad to say but I really can’t tell you a whole lot about him. He was really young when I started having a family of my own and moved out of my moms. I can tell you that he is a hard worker and has helped my mom and dad a lot. We have always called him Buckaroo because people called my dad buck. My brother is a quiet and private person. He is a big Cowboys fan.
He doesn’t have any birth children of his own but he has been in a long relation and she has two girls. He has never married yet but it doesn’t mean that someday he won’t. He will want to kill me should he see or hear about this post 🙂 but that is ok, I live in Tennessee and he lives in Michigan.
So this is pretty much my siblings. It seems that I don’t really know them all that well, but I love them very much.
