Guns & School

Posted by Kerri Mosher on April 6, 2016 in Guns in School, My Opinion |

Please keep in mind while reading this post this has nothing to do with my opinion on gun rights.

I as a parent will choose to remove my children from any school that allows teachers to have a gun in the class room. I am not in total disagreement with maybe a gun kept in the office area but I am 100% in disagreement with them being a class room.

How many times do you hear of children taking on a teacher, how many times to do hear of teachers abusing children physically or sexually? I have heard of these things to many times and I think it is a bad ideal for guns to be in a class room.

I am not a parent that gives people my trust when it come to my kids. I trust no one and when you allow guns in a class room you are putting my child in danger along with every other student in that class. Kids are not the same as they were when we were growing up. You didn’t hear of 1st graders plotting to kill another student, you didn’t hear of students getting out of control like they do now and over taking a teacher.

Watch the news and you will see where children are shooting children all the time. Our children are being killed by guns daily so why would we allow them in a class room with a class full of kids? I don’t get this and don’t understand.

When I go to the school I cannot get past the office which is a very good thing, so why do we need guns in our class rooms with our children. I am firm on this belief and I understand that others may be disagreement with my opinion and that is ok. I am thankful I have the option to home school my child should this law every go into effect.

Do you ago or disagree? If you disagree please leave a comment below as to why you disagree with me.  I voice my opinion and love to hear others even when they disagree. I like to see both sides of the opinions.
